Google Revenues Sheltered in No-Tax Bermuda Soar to $10 Billion
Google Inc. avoided about $2 billion in worldwide income taxes in 2011 by shifting $9.8 billion in revenues into a Bermuda shell company, almost double the total from three years before, filings show.
- SarahAnneBower Now this stuff tics me off. Regular Joes don't have a way to shelter themselves to start with. But you use Gov't money to research and develop and then move the assets to avoid your contribution. I know it is legal but I don't have to like it. Have to change the laws. Trying to find a way around Google but it's Microsoft or Google. Sure we have lot's of choices as long as you choose what they want you to choose. Just like politicians.
