AnnaMarieSanderson Obummer is not and never will be MY president, I refer to him only as "the resident". If obummer really cared about all USA citizens he would mandate E-verify and force out illegals (who have taken jobs using stolen ID's). Instead obummer gives amnesty to illegals and their brats illegally by thwarting the Federal Law. The jobs these folks take should be given to USA citizens.
On the other hand I can not wait to one day call Allen West Mr President.
kplucker Yup....one more piece to the puzzle that is Obama. Yes. He won the election, with unprecedented help from the media, nitwit actors, rappers, and athletes that couldn't pass a 6th grade spelling test. The ill-informed uneducated voter made him the "winner" of a popularity contest. It was how the most inexperienced, incompetent, and most arrogant president in history was put in office. Disgusting.
dkmullen @likeAplan - 18%? I think your numbers are a bit skewed. I am very thankful that I am retired from the military, I would have resigned if he were president while I was still on active duty. He doesn't care about anyone except himself. The way he has handled this middle east crisis is nothing less than dereliction of duty.
likeAplan @dkmullen - I'm not making excuses for President Obama. He won the 2008 general elections for the Office of the President of the United States of America. He defeated a household name, Clinton. He defeated the GOP candidate who had the most popular, energizing #2 on the ticket in modern history, yet Obama won. People like Obama. However, those like you and the 18% others like you, never will like him and never will like him, but he is still your President.
likeAplan @dkmullen - Actually, I was impressed that you were able to actually find the house bill number. When it comes to Romney, he is probably the worst GOP candidate in the last 50 or so years. At least McCain had a vision that did not change depending on political winds.
dkmullen @likeAplan - deflection will not work. I simply gave you facts and you try to deflect and make excuses. I may not like Romney as much as some other candidates, but I sure like him a hell of a lot more than Obama. At least I respect what Romney has done in his lifetime.
likeAplan @dkmullen - I did not concern myself with votes that Obama cast representing Illinois. I was laser focused on Minnesota's two senators. Two democrats at that.
likeAplan @bigeasy43 - (you said, "Obama supporters will still vote for him...) Why would they NOT vote for the President? I'm sorry that you are stuck with a candidate that the GOP elites appointed.
dkmullen @likeAplan - I don't dislike Obama, I used to dislike him.
dkmullen @likeAplan - Then "Nay" vote was a "Nay" vote. Now you are trying to justify him voting against it, then complaining to a black preacher's caucus that whitey, doesn't want to give the desperate blacks in New Orleans money. When in fact the bill passed with his and Hillary's "Nay" vote.
likeAplan @dkmullen - (you said, "Not only did he vote "Nay", he did it then 10 days later tried to make it look like the government didn't want to give New Orleans money, because it is predominately "Black".) That was not my interpretation at all. President Obama is president for all Americans, and you know this. Romney's hit squad is desperate. Romney will not win Ohio nor the Presidency. I know that Romney was not your first choice, and you don't really like him, but you dislike Obama more.
likeAplan @dkmullen - Let me clarify, the "Nay" vote was political maneuvering.
dkmullen @likeAplan - and I loved his southern "preacher" accent.
dkmullen @likeAplan - Not only did he vote "Nay", he did it then 10 days later tried to make it look like the government didn't want to give New Orleans money, because it is predominately "Black".
likeAplan @dkmullen - then Sen. Obama voted "Yea" on a previous amendment to H.R. 2206 (AMENDMENT PURPOSE: Expressing the sense of the Congress that no action should be taken to undermine the safety of the Armed Forces of the United States or impact their ability to complete their assigned or future missions.) This was more of a political maneuvering vote..I'm sure you know this. The motion was a done deal. The NAY vote was purely strategic which is something that politicians do.
dkmullen @likeAplan - It's HR2206, it passed 80-14, he was one of the 14 nays:
Obama (D-IL) <--
likeAplan @dkmullen - (you said, "And 10 days prior to this speech, he voted against the Stafford money for Louisiana.) What was the house or senate bill that Obama voted against, and what year was it?
dkmullen Obama was asking about the Stafford money for New Orleans, claiming that they didn't get it. In fact they did get it. And 10 days prior to this speech, he voted against the Stafford money for Louisiana.
dkmullen @raider - you and LAP are drinking from the same tainted water supply.
raider @dkmullen - it's not that amazing, he's using logic and sensibility. if you did that, you'd probably have some intellect as well.
this was a non issue in 2007, why would this matter now? maybe they can bring up the birth certificate thing again.
dkmullen @likeAplan - manufactured? Once again, your intellect amazes me.
likeAplan Re-birthing of yet another ancient story with manufactured racial overtones. Romney's surrogates and dirt diggers must be desperate.
bigeasy43 It is the Daily Caller that broke this story and have the full, unedited video of Obama's speech. Nice first comment @cchanity.
bigeasy43 Obama supporters will still vote for him, they think his real voice is how he speaks to them. Obama supporters think it is funny when he is "acting white" just foolin' those honkies. Obama supporters know what is in his heart and they love him for it.
donnamoore1 Obama proves his true stripes. Nothing he does or says is true - just self promoting.
