earlchantrill1 I think that if Romney is elected and is able to put his policies into practice, the nation will begin to come together again.
spencerjackson ALL HAIL THE GREAT & POWERFUL OBAMA.. LMAO
jimraue1 If Obama is reelected, he expects to have "more flexibility". I fully expect him to declare himself our dictator, of course just for our own good. THAT WILL lead to the 2nd revolution!!!
outrider @spenserjackson-with all due respect and appreciation to our vets, if it's not paid for we can't do it. I am sure if you had a few extra million you would give to help our vets but if you are living pay check to paycheck how far are you willing to go, would you sell your home take a loan out to help our vets, what about donating half of your pension to the vets or homeless or the hungry . What you don't get and never will is we are broke, don't as what your country can do for you
spencerjackson To MandM, OUR "#1 PRIORITY IS TO DENY PRESIDENT OBAMA A 2nd TERM, OUR COUNTRY NEEDS JOBS..NOT BS "TEA BAGGER MARCHING ORDERS" Last wk, They KILLED A BILL THAT WOULD HAVE GIVEN "RETURNING VETS 1.1 MILLION JOBs..READ A F#@K'N PAPER..Spence Jackson AE1(AW) USN/RET
spencerjackson To Patson, IT WAS ROMNEY WHO STARTED SPLITTING UP THE PEOPLE IN OUR COUNTRY BY % POINTS.... I THINK HE "REALLY NEEDS" to address his comments..Or He'll loose, Based on the Math Alone..Remember 22 of 47% Comment are Seniors Who receive SS,MEDICARE or VA DISABILITY..He Basically " Dismissed " them in that Video..REMEMBER.SENIORS ARE THE MOST CONSISTANT VOTING BLOCK..To quote Desi. Lucy, ya got some splain''n to do..Spence Jackson AE1(AW) USN/RET.
cliffordlosee1 the republic we now have to a pure democracy. We would still need the executive branch and probably the judicial branch, but congress could be replaced by direct voting of the laws. This would be a major constitutional change and would also have some problems, but it is something that is possible to do. Right now, Congress is the largest maarket place in the world. Bills are passed by buying and selling very costly favors. For now, I came across a site (trackgov.us). It gives voting cont...
outrider @spenserjackson- don't you think you and clifforl
cliffordlosee1 @spencerjackson - Spence, I think I am like you in many ways. A person's record really doesn't reflect their true charactoe, because business and politics are dynamic, meaing thisngs change every day and they must change with it. I think what is important is to try to observe their attitude. It's hard to pick out sometimes. As far as Congress is concerned, I have been mulling an dea over in my mind for a number of years. With the technology we have today, we possibly could convert cont...
outrider @spencerjackson- please continue to vote with the liberal left like Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reed, Charles Schumer, Barney Frank, and of course Obama They were entrusted with leading this country and look where we are now, you point to Congress and your embarrassment to be a republican try being an American first and place the blame where it belongs
spencerjackson To Suenc, I would suggest you put down your BIBLE & pick up a NEWSPAPER..I GET IT,You hate our President...Please Explain too me WHY TEA PARTY REPS..killed the Jobs for returning VETERANS LAST WEEK..I'M EMBARRSED TO BE A REG REPUBLICAN..The 112th CONGRESS .. GOTTA GO. Spence Jackson AE1(AW) USN/RET
spencerjackson To SUNLEAFLOUNGE, I'M IN COMPLETE AGREEMENT, I Also believe Our DO NOTHING 112th CONGRESS NEED TO GO..AS a disabled Vet & Reg Republican...Last weeks Vote to kill 1.1 Milllion jobs for Vets WAS JUST PLAIN "POLITICS" The Tea Party..killed it..I'm EMBARRSED..IS GETTING THE PRESIDENT OUT OF OFFICE MORE IMPORTANT THAN JOBS FOR VETS..POLITICALLY SPEAKING..I'M VOTING THESE IDIOTS OUT.NO MATTER WHO GETS THE WHITEHOUSE..Spence Jackson AE1(AW) USN/RET
spencerjackson To Cliff Losee, Sometimes I get So Damn Frustrated,Granted, Obama is Our President, BUT THIS COMPLETE UNWILLINGNESS TO COMPROMISE THING is really getting to me..Like last week on the Veterans Employment bill, DEFEATED IN A 58 - 40 MARGIN, I'M EMBARRSED TO BE A REG.Republican..Do they ( the Tea Party) think we won't notice..Their Aim GET MITT ELECTED, At the expense of a million jobs for Vets..Right Now, I no longer concerned with OBAMAS or MITTS Record..SEEMS TO ME ..THE 112TH CONGRESS GOTTA GO
Patson Our country is more devided since Obama has been president and he continues to devide us even more daily.
sunleaflounge I find it funny so many people are blaming Obama.... for inheriting bush failures. I think under the circumstances Obama saved this country from a great depression.
cliffordlosee1 @spencerjackson - Spence, you are so right about compromise. I have done some study of the history of the constitution and it wasn't until James Maddison made some concessions and about 6 or 7 years of dicussing and compromising to put together something that all the delegates were happy with. Then the Bill of Rights had to be added before the states would accept it. Then it zipped right through and we have the new gov. that everyone was pleased with, because they all were the creators of it.
spencerjackson To Cdl123...Does the progressives include the 47% Mitt spoke of..?
spencerjackson To Cliff Losee, Sadly, Sir I find your observations to be correct, It makes me long for the Days of Republicans & Democrats minus their WINGNUT COUSINS..At least then COMPROMISE WASN'T A DIRTY WORD..Spence Jackson
cliffordlosee1 @RobertBurling - Thanks for reminding us Robert. I know for one, I fall short in doing this. If this actually happened, there would be very little if any need for government intrusion.
goodcopbad @RobertBurling - we will try to mend it on election day
RobertBurling The division between people of this country is an illusion of the mind. If you feel the nation is being torn apart then you need to be putting forth some effort to try to mend it. Start by making friends with people. Volunteer for work in places you wouldn't go before, build connections to people who are different from you. If enough people seek to connect to their fellow Americans, no level of political disunity would break us.
cdl123 The class war that the Progressive's started is what is deviding the Country.
cliffordlosee1 @mellissner - I don't know that there is so much animosity among the citizens as there is between us citzens and the people that are supposed to be leading us. They have done nothing that has earned the trust I and many others have given them.
mellissner The only answer I would not have chosen is, NO. In my opinion, the one thing Ob. has accomplished is DIVIDING THE COUNTRY, the new "D.P.A" the divided people of America. NEVER before, even with Carter and Nixon has there been so much animosity among U.S.A. citizens.
spencerjackson Your Right Sue, By the way WHERE IS YOUR HOME PLANET..LOL
spencerjackson Why not just wait for the DEBATES or Check out tonights 60 Minutes ..Romney & Obama will be on (9/23).. Spence Jackson
judi Obama himself has torn this country apart with class warfare, non exsistant war on women, embrassing islam yet not recognising our traditional values by forcing churches to pay for contraception, not recognising traditional marriage and it continues. He rules against the Constitution and We the people.
philiplester There is very little chance this country will survive in next 20 years.
local, state, and federal government spends 6.5 trillion a year and that doesnt include the 2 trillion the federal government needs to pay back the debt and cover the unfunded liabilities.
Yet, according to the IRS, there is only 7.2 trillion dollars in AGI. That means the governments needs yearly more money than people earn.
This is what is know as bankruptcy. We cant cover our bills.
suespaziano it all ready is and especially if king obama is reelected. he is the most divisive president this country has ever seen and if the people don't wake up and smell the coffee, you won't recognize the USA in four years. i believe obama is a communist and he wants control of everything including the people!! i'm sure i'm not the onle person who feels this way. he is UNAMERICAN!!!
Doc_Goodrich Ours is already the Obamination to the world and will remain as such so long as Obama, his czars and the liberal senate remain. May our dear Lord save us from this Islamic Muslim in our White House.
spencerjackson THIS COUNTRY HAS ENDURED FAR WORSE..Hard line right wing, Liberal Left Democrats..Sad, but its the PROCESS WHICH CONCERNS ME..My only fear is the systematic silencing of American Voices..SO WHETHER, YOU FEEL MITTS YOUR MAN, OR THE PRESIDENTS YOUR GUY...Its less important to just bitch, PLEASE .. REGISTER & VOTE..Spence Jackson
conniesmith2 I doubt that the election will pull the Nation apart, it was Obama that already put a wedge into our nation and the fact that he didn't know what he was doing only damaged the unity that we had in other countries as well as the unity we had with the different races in our own. He was picked by the Democrats because of the Prejudice in this country and he was supposed to pull us together but instead his own bias opinion soon appeared and that is what put the wedge into our country.
joanb36 division was/is the agenda! United We Stand, Divided I take you down!
Leannahere It is pulled apart, I hope it is not to late to fix it.
christinej1963 it is really..."it already is", "If Obama is reelected" and "Civil War" as well it is already trying to divide the races, and christians vs non-christians...something that Our America was not started on. We like our Country to be known for its freedoms and choices but it doesnt feel the same since Obama served at least 1 year in office.
cliffordlosee1 @jemonaco - Do you mean to tell us that somebody 3500 years ago can know of our problems today. How can that be? Very good post and very accurate.
lonalynne hopefully if Mitt is the winner and things start getting better for everyone, it will bring us all back together
cap117 cont --- if the ship is going down as long as they are at the helm --- we had better wake up and show these clowns what RADICAL really is when your back is against wall ---
cap117 oh and my vote was that it already is -- we have lost at least two generations of young people to this crowd.. their revisionist history and the dumbing down of the american electorate has created a society so stupid and without purpose or moral compass that they first believe and then repeat anything they are told -- we are so afraid of offending the smallest percentage that we instead begin to act like them to show how "real" we are --- we are at war with a group of people who dont care
cap117 you will see how quickly it matters to them when the money being taken or SPREAD AROUND is theirs----
cap117 i am continually amazed at the overwhelming %s of people who hate this scumbag -- so ask this question (why do all the lame stream media polls show him with a commanding lead)we all know the answer the real question is what are we willing to do about it -- i say identify the greatest source of income for those media outlets and BOYCOTT THE LIVING S--T OUT OF THEM - then our amazement will be at how fast the dollar signs begin to make a difference to these bastards -
jemonaco We're too feeble for another civil war. Our fate will be:(thru representation)...
"But when the citizens had become perverse, this institution became a nuisance; because only the powerful proposed laws, and this for the sake not of their common liberties, but to augment their own power. And against such projects no one durst speak for fear of such folk; with the result that people were induced, either by deceit or by force, to adopt measures which spell their own ruin." (Machiavelli ~1530 AD)
franherbert Rather than blame it on an administration or party, I blame the media for many of our problems. The media should report any actions that are harmful to America, its people and our constitution. That is what has kept us free. Now they only report on the party they are "affiliated" with. Sad day for America. Bush couldn't do anything right and Obama can't do anything wrong. Nothing is that cut and dried!
cliffordlosee1 @4RonPaul - You are right. No matter who get elected will not be able to bring an abrupt change in what has already begun. One choice we will have bumpy roads, but the other choice will leave no roads to follow. I think Ron Paul would have been the better nominee for the reps, but we would still have to smooth out a few bumps. He is the only one that painted a clear pic of the true problems. The others were disguised in politics.
robertjohnson1 We can't take four more years of this president, it'll tear us apart.
jasaminemolly @TheRowan - Golf outings are not counted towards overtime.
4RonPaul The election won't but the coming currency crisis has the potential of igniting massive civil unrest. We are headed toward a day of reckoning and neither candidate or party seems interested in preventing that. In fact, their actions prove otherwise. Buckle up...it's going to be a bumpy ride and there will be wide-spread violence, looting, etc. It's coming...
cliffordlosee1 This nation has always been pulled apart opinion wise, since George Washington was pres anyway, but the constitution has provided the cement to hold it together as a nation. The constitution has gradually been eroded away, especially in the last 12 years. I have fears that the constitution will disappear almost completely if this election goes the wrong way. It will then just be a matter of time until foreign nations and/or ethnic groups move in to divide the land.
govworker I am coming to realize that all that made America is no longer wanted.I am giving up.You CANNOT say that you love America and re-elect this hack;but many want to.So,I guess I am outdated and outnumbered. He will be the death of the "American Dream" if re-elected."Energy costs will necessarily skyrocket".those are his words. And inflation will break us all.
robbrownlee2 Its a deliberate part of the socialist process.
memiket Not the election, it is the Obama anti-Constitution policies that has pulled this country apart. The Obama is an 'outsider' and has poisoned the minds of mush.
judyhoxworth There are actually three answers for this........the only one that doesn't apply is, NO!!!!
dfox066671721 You can expect riots if O does not win, and a REVOLUTION if he does!
Ripped The last election and the selection of an incompetent leader accomplished that in 2008.
TheRowan This President has been working overtime to do this for the past 31/2 years. Only with his and his administrations ouster on November 6th will this nation begin to heal itself.
bigeasy43 Obama is like a man promoted to captain of a ship because he knew how to organize sailors that knew nothing about the top deck. A captain not knowing how to read a compass and on his first voyage gets lost and then blames the successful ship builders for his lack of leadership and sailing experience.
suenc Obama has worked overtime to divide this nation along lines of race and class. His media minions have been more than helpful to his cause. We're already ripped apart, thanks to this anti-Christ and his reign.
sunleaflounge I hope not because us Caucasian would be hunted worse than Indians
